SEO Secrets That Will certainly Purchase Your Web site Positioning In No Time

By Irene Hawkins

In our past issue, you found out the way to use Groups on Facebook for your business. In this issue we are going to talk about the right way to interact with your Facebook friends & fans.

Although people are more or less aware of what proper Netiquette in social media management, the creation and development of Facebook has taken web interaction to a whole new level.

When it comes to Facebook marketing, there are a number of things you have to remember when addressing people. Each application should be carefully analyzed. Whether you use your Facebook account for personal or professional reasons, one should always remember that the internet has an impact on the society. For some, Facebook and other social networks is even the basis of making or breaking relationships from employees ranting about their bosses online to wives finding out about her husband's affair.

Here are a few things to consider when dealing with people online through Facebook, more so if you're using it professionally.

Remember That There Are Some Things That Meant To Be Private

Redundant as it may sound, this is the major rule many people neglect. You can post 'What's on your mind' on Facebook wall and virtually anything you want to say. Having said that, remember that posting these things may turn out to be a big blunder on your part. Do you really want your clients see you puking on your Friday night gimmicks? Or is that catty statement that was intended to be an inside joke between friends worth the misinterpretation by others? Realize that whatever that's learned about you online can have a lasting impact. Your personal or professional contacts may see these later on if not today. If your life is like an open book, imagine the problem of you having to explain to them each and every action you made in the past.

When Using Facebook for Business, Stop Publishing those Game Updates

Those game updates will make you look incompetent towards potential customers. Remember that you do have the option not to post these updates. To you, this may be simple entertainment. But for your potential customers, these may label you as unprofessional or even irresponsible. That's a big no-no when you're trying to develop sound integrity online.

- Stop Text Posting or Posting when it's not necessary

Hd a gr8 tym @ lst nyts prty. Sounds professional? Not at all. Some people may forget that all the characters are at your fingertips and besides, you have a fairly longer character limit, so make use of them properly. Text posting is a bit too casual for any person's taste. The same goes for drunk posting, posting gibberish or something too vague. In fact, stop posting just for the sake of posting. Although all Facebook users have the liberty to say anything they like, this thing can also be very irritating to many people over the long run. Annoyance is not the sentiment you want to conjure up in people.

- Choose Contacts Wisely

You should remember that all news and information posted will appear on their wall. Even their Facebook friends will have the chance to view those posts. With this, you'd want to only add people who might be curious to your offer. Choose direct contacts if possible. You only have a 5,000 limit for contacts after all. If you're running a Facebook page for business reasons, you shouldn't be too quick in approving friend requests. It would do you good to do a bit of investigation about the contact. You can un-friend some people later on after finding out that they aren't within your target audience.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We'll talk about how you can provide something of value to your potential clients and customers.
