More that half of the U.S. population have said at one point that they don't like their current job. They may hate the people, the place, the hours, or the majority of the time they don't like their boss.
So what can you do if you fall under this category without quitting your job? I was in the same situation as you. I was part of the majority that was unhappy with my job. I hated EVERYTHING about it, the people, the early hours, and especially my boss. I couldn't escape that job because I was trapped. I was an employee at a hospital making barely over minimum wage to wash dishes and i couldn't bare it anymore! I couldn't escape that prison, and due to the economy and my past nobody was hiring me.
I went around to 50-100 places and filled out numerous job applications for 2 months straight. All that work for only 10 call backs! this was bull, even though the interviews went well they all wouldn't hire me because of the DUI I received when i was 17. The one mistake i made during high school was crippling my future. Everyone makes mistakes and i thought it was unfair to have to pay for that years after it happened.
A few weeks after my last call back I felt defeated, I wanted to just give up with my job search, and I was so close to doing it too until I got a phone call. . .
The call was from one of my fraternity buddies from my sophomore year in college at the University of Idaho. I hadn't heard from him all summer so I thought this was a random pocket dial. Turns out it wasn't' just a random phone call. He told me about a big business opportunity he got involved in that changed his life.
I was all ears at this point because I was desperate for another job. He begin to tell me all about it saying that he was working with the official energy drink of the phoenix suns, and it was also endorsed my Michael Jordan. I thought there's no way! How did he land such a job? John began to explain that they are paying people all over the world to help market their product.
I couldn't contain myself at this point, I was ECSTATIC, Hungry and saw the big picture. Before i even knew what I had to do with the job I could see dollar signs in front of my eyes. I said to John, I'M IN!! I didn't even need any convincing and i was ready to start the next day . . .
I still didn't know what I had to do to make money with this company so I gave John a call in the morning. He told me to watch this video, and that would help explain what the company is all about. I did and I was inspired with all the success stories that were coming from such young college students.
