Showing You Acted In Self-Defense When Doing Your Job

By Mikale Q Oshby

The vehicle in front, a gray Chevrolet Impala, kept weaving of its lane. I stepped on the gas, caught up with it, and afterwards turned my headlights on in order that he would pull over.

I went to the Chevy when I got out of my patrol vehicle. Police are careful in conducting traffic stops, but I was expecting to witness some intoxicated car owner half-asleep at the wheel. Still, I started the recorder on my sunglasses hidden camera with DVR just in case. It was a good thing I did.

Donning surveillance camera systems is not even department policy, but if we already utilize car dashboard video cameras to tape evidence against suspects, why not body worn cameras?

That was really the key reasons why I acquired one just before some crack head could possibly charge me with trampling on his rights, and I would have absolutely nothing else aside from a report to support me. Besides, a tiny spy cam can grab what a dashboard camera can't.

My SunSpy sunglasses camera is a covert camera, or a security video camera planted inside an ordinary object so no one can reckon he is being videoed.

It is a covert cam with its own DVR. You do not need to use a separate recording device to use the unit. DVR-equipped camera systems commonly possess an RCA cable or SD card for playback. RCA cords attach to TVs or screens, and SD cards slip into computer SD card readers.

My sunglasses nanny camera possesses 4GB of memory and a USB cord for playback, plus a black carrying case, lens cloth, power adaptor, a clear and polarized lens, two additional nose pieces, and a user handbook.

The second I saw the Impala driver, I understood he was not intoxicated. He was actually high on something. I was shocked when I saw him holding a Beretta in his hand. I immediately used my pepper on him when the tried to aim the gun at me. He charged me with police brutality, and I was put on leave and also investigated. The video coming from my camera sunglasses supported my report like I understood it would. And it put him behind bars and me back on patrol quickly.
